IUD (Intrauterine Device) Insertions & Removals

At Health by Nurture, we offer IUD (intrauterine device) insertion and removal services, including Mirena®, Kyleena® and Copper IUDs.

Entonox (pain relief gas) is also available for an additional fee for patients who would like extra pain relief during the procedure.

IUDs are a highly effective, long-acting reversible contraceptive that can provide between 5 and 10 years of pregnancy prevention, depending on the type of device. We also provide comprehensive counselling to help you choose the contraceptive option that best suits your individual needs. Following your procedure, we will provide advice on what to expect and how to monitor your IUD.
