Non-Referred Ultrasound Services

At Health by Nurture, we provide point-of-care ultrasound services without the need for a referral.

Our experienced GPs use modern ultrasound technology to:

• Confirm early intrauterine pregnancy

• Check the position of an IUD (coil)

• Locate non-palpable ("lost") Implanons

• Identify certain foreign bodies beneath the skin

These ultrasounds can often be performed during your consultation, allowing for prompt assessment and management in a comfortable and private environment. An additional fee may apply for use of the Ultrasound machine during your appointment.

Please note that our ultrasound services are limited to the above indications. For any referred or formal diagnostic ultrasounds, please contact your nearest radiology provider to book an appointment.
